I grew up in West Virginia in a town the size of Rapid City, went to school in a rural part of Ohio, so I crave the quieter, small town atmosphere - and access to beauty in nature. I've lived in Aberdeen since 1993. My paintings have really benefitted from exposure to the beautiful landscape of the Dakotas. I'd like to see Aberdeen become more educated to the worth of all the arts - not just as entertainment, but full time enrichment of quality of life and environment.
